EUMOFA presentations at Conxemar, 1–3 October

EUMOFA has expanded its fishery and aquaculture international trade database, which is now the most comprehensive and publicly accessible database in the world.

With this expansion, which includes data for additional extra-EU countries, users can access monthly import and export volumes, values and prices of each species traded in nearly 100 countries. EUMOFA’s international trade data are accessible at this link. In addition, data can be extracted from the bulk download section in CSV format for custom analysis and interpretation.

EUMOFA presentation at Aquaculture Europe 2019, 7-10 October

The EUMOFA presentation – “Markets for low trophic aquaculture products. Critical market considerations” – was given during the EU EATIP Day, organized in the framework of Aquaculture Europe 2019.

The presentation incorporated the results from several recent EUMOFA studies in discussing the main drivers and market challenges for low trophic aquaculture growth in Europe, focusing on the algae and molluscs sectors.
