The revised rules align State aid with the EU strategic priorities, in particular the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), as well as to the European Green Deal.
Belgium will receive almost €3 billion in Cohesion Policy funding in 2021-2027 to accelerate its green and digital transition and support the development of a competitive, innovative and inclusive economy. €40.3 million under the EMFAF will support the fishery sector via investments leading to increased sustainable fisheries.
