EUMOFA Talk on the impact of seafood imports on the EU SSCF: video recording now available
EUMOFA has just released the video recording of the second EUMOFA Talk “impact of seafood imports on the EU small-scale coastal fleet”.
The EUMOFA Talks series continued with a webinar about the newly-released study on the impact of seafood imports on the EU small-scale coastal fleet. The video recording of the webinar, which was moderated by Valentina Sannino (EUMOFA), is now available on the EUMOFA website.
The panel of experts included:
- Griffin Carpenter (EUMOFA expert), who presented the objectives and main findings of the study, also explaining its background in terms of patterns in seafood trade and policy context;
- Raymond Maes (policy officer at the European Commission-DG MARE), who provided an overview of the EU small-scale coastal fleet;
- Sebastian Metz (EUMOFA expert), who gave an overview of the case studies developed in the framework of the study.
