EUMOFA at International aquaculture conference in Bucharest
EUMOFA will attend the International aquaculture conference on Salt- and Freshwater Aquaculture in Europe – Sustainable Seafood for the Future in Bucharest (Romania) from 23 to 24 May
Eurofish International Organisation is organising an international aquaculture conference in Bucharest in cooperation with the National Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NAFA), an institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania.
The conference will feature sessions on freshwater aquaculture, saltwater aquaculture, and markets and certification with presentations from international and local experts. The conference agenda is available here.
On Tuesday, 23 May from 17:15 to 17:35 an analyst from EUMOFA will present the outcome from the EUMOFA Organic aquaculture study (2022). This will include:
- a state of play of the organic aquaculture at EU level, with details by species and MS,
- the identification of drivers and barriers for growth.
